We teach the largest number of classes in the Metro area (more than 60 classes a year). We provide the highest quality training in a professional and ethical manner, and at reasonable and competitive prices. Continuing Education Units (CEU's) are offered on Reiki classes. A total of 48 CEU's for Reiki are available.
Classes are a combination of lecture, discussion and practice time. 40% - 50% of the class is devoted to practice time. This includes self-treatment, as well as giving and receiving a complete energy healing treatment. All classes are eight hours each day with 2 breaks and healthy organic lunch provided when held in our home.
Reiki I or First Degree
Pre-requisite:
None.
Course Description:
In Japanese, this degree is called Shoden or beginning level. The basic Reiki principles and methods for treating various ailments in oneself and others are taught. You receive attunements to the Reiki I energy and learn to give a complete Reiki treatment for yourself. The agenda consists of:
* Attunement to the Reiki I energy;
* The Reiki hand positions;
* The 5 principles of Reiki;
* The Body-Mind Connections;
* Auras, Chakras & their meanings;
* Reiki history and your lineage;
* Reiki energy techniques;
* The Self Reiki Energy Booster;
* Group Reiki and practice time;
* Guided meditations.
Reiki I deals mainly with the self-healing process and the recognition of ones own healing potential. Reiki I is used for PHYSICAL healing of self. A manual and certificate is given.
Course Objectives:
* The student will learn a definition for the term “Reiki”.
* The student will learn the basic history of Reiki and Reiki attunements.
* The student will identify and discuss the 5 Reiki Principles.
* The student will identify and discuss the 7 basic energy chakras.
* The student will understand and name one major body area that is associated with each of the 7 basic energy chakras.
* The student will identify and discuss where the energy source of Reiki originates, & how you use this energy source.
* The student will identify and list 5 benefits of Reiki.
* The student will prepare 3 affirmations to use during your own personal Self-Reiki Energy Booster.
* The student will learn and demonstrate the hand positions for Self-Reiki Energy Booster.
* The student will learn and demonstrate the hand positions for a table treatment on another individual on a massage table.

Reiki II or Second Degree
Pre-requisite:
Reiki I.
Course Description:
In Japanese, this Degree is called Oku Den, meaning a more thorough exploration of the Self - or deeper knowledge, inner teaching. This is the level that is recommended for people who want to become Reiki practitioners, as this empowerment is needed to treat others. This degree is used for healing the self and others on the MENTAL and EMOTIONAL Level, as well as the Physical Level. A certificate and manual are given. This class includes:
* Attunement to the Reiki II energy;
* How to use the Reiki Energy Box;
* The Reiki II Symbols, how and when to use them and practice time;
* Distant healing to send Reiki to others, yourself, ideas, projects and practice time;
* Japanese Reiki Techniques from Dr. Usui:
- - - Gassho meditations;
- - - Reiji-ho - developing your intuition;
- - - Byosen Scanning - intuiting where Reiki should be sent;
- - - Gyoshi ho - sending Reiki with the eyes;
- - - Koki ho - sending Reiki with the breath;
- - - Kenyoku - dry bathing or clearing a person's energy field;
- - - Jacki-kiri Joka-ho, clearing objects of negative energy;
* Hayashi Healing Guide for specific conditions
* Giving Reiki to animals, plants & food;
* Group reiki sessions.
Course Objectives:
* The student will learn the difference between Reiki I & Reiki II.
* The student will learn the meaning and use for Distant Reiki.
* The student will learn uses of a Reiki Energy Box.
* The student will understand the sample Distant Reiki Journal.
* The student will understand three (3) uses of the Reiki Power Symbol.
* The student will understand three (3) effects of a Reiki treatment.
* The student will identify the meaning and use for the three (3) Reiki II symbols.
* The student will understand the correct spelling of the symbol name and draw each of the three (3) Reiki II symbols.
* The student will demonstrate a Gassho Meditation (JRT).
* The student will demonstrate Byosen Scanning and Beaming (JRT) on another individual on a massage table.

Advanced Reiki and Master Level or Third Degree
Pre-requisite:
Reiki I & II.
Course Description:
Called "Shinpiden" or Mystery Teaching. This degree is taught in 2 days. The class will allow anyone to teach and pass on Reiki if they wish, or use it for themselves and their family and friends. The Advanced Reiki (Day 1) includes:
* The Usui Master attunement to increase the awareness and strength of your Reiki energy;
* The Usui Master symbols(3);
* 2 Tibetan Master symbols;
* 1 non-traditional Master symbol;
* Advanced methods and information on starting a healing practice, if you wish;
* Using crystals or stones with Reiki
* Group Reiki;
* Guided meditations.
The Reiki Master (Day 2) includes:
* The Usui/Tibetal Master attunement;
* The Masters Water Ceremony;
* The symbol of Spiritual Enlightenment with instruction and practice time;
* Instruction on passing the Reiki I, II & Master attunements with practice time;
* Developing curriculum and teaching tips;
* Group Reiki;
* Guided meditations.
The healing is on a SPIRITUAL Level, as well as the Physical, Mental and Emotional Levels. The class includes a manual giving specific steps for giving attunements and you will have a Reiki Master and Teacher Certificate.
Course Objectives:
* The student will identify the meaning and use of the Master Symbol.
* The student will identify and discuss the preparation and administering of a Reiki client session.
* The student will learn the significance and procedure of The Water Ceremony.
* The student will learn the usage for five (5) non-Usui Reiki Symbols.
* The student will understand what constitutes the Usui System and differentiates it from other Reiki Systems.
* The student will organize and plan a structured Reiki class for all four (4) levels of Reiki degrees.
* The student will demonstrate the Hui Yin and Dragon’s Breath components of the attunement process.
* The student will demonstrate the procedural steps of attunements for all four (4) levels of Reiki degrees.
* The student will identify the 4 Usui symbols, their name and use.

Karuna I & II Master Reiki®
Pre-requisite:
Reiki Master (Reiki III.)
Course Description:
Karuna is a Sanskrit word which means compassionate action. This class is for anyone who has completed Reiki Master training. Karuna enhances the power of your Reiki for personal or professional practice. Both levels of Karuna Reiki® and both attunements will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all 12 Karuna symbols. You will be able to teach all four levels of Karuna Reiki®, after taking this class. The classes are filled with hands on training to heighten the experience. A certificate and a 45 page manual are included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process. You will become a Registered Karuna Master with The International Center for Reiki Training. Class manual and certificate are included.
Course Objectives:
* The student will identify the differences between Usui or Tibetan Reiki Systems and Karuna Reiki.
* The student will identify, draw, and learn the uses of and apply the four symbols of Karuna I in a specific order in a Karuna session.
* The student will learn to incorporate the Karuna I symbols into the Usui or Tibetan Reiki system and define the specific uses of symbols.
* The student will identify, draw, and learn the uses of and apply the four symbols of Karuna II in a Karuna session.
* The student will identify the relationships, differences and uses between the symbols of Karuna I and II.
* The student will demonstrate the procedural steps for all four levels of attunement for Karuna Reiki.
